About 2 years ago we decided to get our 25 year old windows and patio doors replaced. We began the process of researching different suppliers to obtain quotes. Bavarian Window Works was one of our potential vendors. We went to the Bavarian showroom and met with Hardy. He was approachable and knowledgeable about the products Bavarian carried. He understood we were looking for a great quality window for a reasonable price. When he came for a visit to our home for measurements, after exploring various options from different manufacturers, we decided to go with the Prism Series windows by Frank Windows and Doors because of the build quality, contemporary frame and frameless Flex screen. Next came the process of exterior colour selection (Black or Iron Ore). Since we were going to change the windows, he recommended we paint our windows to the color we desired. It was a very helpful suggestion!As far as the installation, it was seamless. Gino and Leon are definitely skilled carpenters and were able to install our trim with the backband with no issues.We need a new front door and I will definitely go back to Bavarian.I highly recommend Bavarian Windows for your windows and doors project!

Fantastic support; even better outcome. Right from the start, Hardy at Bavarian was excellent to work with and took the time to really understand our needs. This was especially impressive to me as we are only talking a single window job - I never felt like an insignificant customer.We walked through a number of options and seeing the products in the showroom was great.The delivery and installation process was so straight-forward. The team arrived on time and delivered very expediently. But even moreso, I was really impressed by the attention to detail - be it the artisanship into the trim all the way through the spotless post-job cleanup.There was a small problem with the screens as delivered as they didn't fit right. Not a problem from Bavarian I might add - a manufacturer issue. But once again, Bavarian took the issue, owned it, and addressed it with incredible ease to me. Things happen - that's normal. But it's the response to things happening that's so important and I can't be more pleased in how it was handled. All told, the project exceeded my expectations and would strongly recommend Bavarian based on the experience and outcomes we had. Thank you!

We cannot complain about anything from the folks at Bavarian Window Works and Doors! We got 3 quotes and the one that stood out to us was from here. We were able to go, see and touch the product before installation. Hardy was fantastic. No pressure, he provided clarity and answered all of our questions. The other 2 places were terrible! The pressure techniques were insane and the reps treated us as if we didn't have a brain. One company rep wouldn't even let us keep the promotional materials. The other rep told us that what we wanted was not possible. Meanwhile on social media, there was the project I wanted for our place, showed it to the rep and she was put out!Hardy is the consummate professional! No pressure at all! He actually cares about what he does and it shows.The installers, artists! My inlaws were very pleased with the new patio doors they had installed. The people at Bavarian were pleasant to work with, and office staff kept them well informed along the way. The installers were very professional and went above and beyond to seal the area up again temporarily when installation had to be halted for some repair work to be done to the supports. They were also very respectful of their home, protecting the area and leaving it so clean that they didnt' need to sweep up a thing. The fit, finish and quality of the doors is great and they coordinate well with the existing heritage windows. We would not hesitate to recommend Bavarian Windows.

My wife and I moved in to our first home less than a year ago and replacing the windows became top priority after a winter of experiencing the cold air coming in to our living areas/bedroom and the heat escaping. I had a problem with 3 windows at my home. I called several window companies who were not willing or interested. The mechanism inside the frame were broken. The windows were heavy to raise and wouldn't stay up unless support. The windows themselves were in perfect condition. Bavarian Window Works was the only company that was willing to investigate without suggesting new windows. For a very reasonable price your technician was able to completely solve the problem. We are very happy with the outcome of our Front door replacement with Bavarian. We initially ordered a door with one manufacturer but due some issues with that manufacturer, it was suggested that we cancel that order and start the process over. Feeling a bit deflated by the situation, we ultimately decided to cancel that order and switch door manufacturers as suggested. Throughout that process, we were expertly guided by Hardy and Morgan to select our new door, and both really went above and beyond to make sure we got the door of our dreams. When it came to the installation, it went great. The install team were friendly and answered and questions we had. The end results speak for themselves. We got a great door that we’re eager to show family and friends. We will certainly use Bavarian Windows and Doors for future projects.

Im happy with my new doors from Barvarian. The doors feel heavy and quality, and the hardware is solid. I'm happy that I was able to get a unique style while fitting into my 1950s house - the colours are just what I was looking for. The installation is clean, even with colour matched caulking!There was a problem with the wrong hardware being ordered, but it was fixed without issue. I will be using them on future renovations

We've owned our home in Cambridge for 11 years. The basement has a large bedroom with attached full bath. Unfortunately, the windows were so small it could not be legally used as a bedroom. We've been thinking for some time about having egress windows installed. Late last year we began getting estimates and talking to companies about the installation. The prices were comparable, as were the windows. What wasn't comparable were the installation methods and the quality of customer services.We worked with Justin from Bavarian Window Works and immediately recognized the exceptional customer service in comparison to other companies. He was patient, careful to explain everything in detail, and ordered the specific windows we wanted, after our research and his advice. He explained that, unlike the others we talked with, their installation including digging down to the weeper tiles that run around the house at the footings under the basement so that any water would drain into the tiles and not pose a risk to the foundation.The windows (36" x 30"), one at each end of the house (one in the bedroom and one in the rec room), were installed in March. They comply with building and fire codes for egress windows. The worksite was kept clean. The landscaping around one end the house had to be disrupted and was restored to its original state upon completion. Apart from the new windows and a bit of exposed dirt, you would not know they had even been there. The guys who did the installation were professional, friendly and did an exceptional job which was done over 2 days. We could not be happier with the end result.We highly recommend Bavarian Window Works and Jason in particular.Thanks for a job expertly done!!

After getting estimates from 3 other companies, we decided to go with Bavarian Windows. Joe was clear and to the point during the estimate process. He helped steer us in the right direction. We ordered new windows for our upstairs level.(We specifically got LowE2-3 windows with an OER=21)Installation was done by Mike and Jordan. We would definitely recommend Bavarian for windows. We had 7 windows replaced with them. Hardy was a very attentive salesperson and made sure everything promised was delivered. We compared prices to two other places and found they were competitive. The installation crew - Brandon and Nick - were also very easy to work with. They worked well together, answered all of our questions, and seemed very thorough. We don't have to wear sweatshirts while we sleep anymore. Although the windows are just a few weeks old, I am confident if anything comes up down the line they will be responsive.

Bavarian installed two windows and a utility door on our 123 yr old home and did a fabulous job. Our sales rep Hardy was crystal-clear in what to expect, and there were no surprises. The windows & door fit the existing architecture in every way, especially in terms of style. They are also air-tight and the reduction in outside noise is significant. Bavarian was the only company we contacted that understood what we were looking for: a high quality, wood window that would match the look of the original windows we were replacing on our 115 year old home. From to start to finish the staff were easy to deal with and followed through on their commitments. From the moment we called Bavarian for a quote we received excellent service! Hardy helped us through the process of selecting the perfect windows for the front of our house. He went above and beyond to make our dreams come true. He met with us and their head installer to discuss some specific issues we had as well. He helped us select a nice detail on the outside of our windows, with an extra step in the casement that adds some visual interest to the outside. We went with a custom colour as well and it matches our eaves and outside paint perfectly. The installation was quick and the finishing details on the inside are beautiful. We are so happy with our new windows and we love the product overall. We can't wait to crack open the windows for the first time in the spring!We decided on 4 stars instead of 5 because we felt that communication dropped off quite a bit once we made our initial payment. Update, 2023: Balance of the windows have been replaced in our end unit townhouse.The supervisor Jason and his crew of 5 guys did it all in three days and left the place clean afterwards.They did great work again. I would recommend Bavarian Windows to homeowners or to townhouse Condo Boards.....We live in a Condo townhouse, Unit 8 in Guelph; they replaced the huge front bay window and a large rear window. The installers were courteous and cleaned up after they finished. Beautiful quality and the installation looks perfect!AND, then, without charge, they re-installed our complex system of California shutters, although this was not their responsibility... that went beyond our expectations.Early in the process, the estimator guy was friendly, helpful and efficient.

We have been dealing with this great professional company for a while now. We have been replacing our windows (a few at a time) for the last few years. Justin came over to do all the accurate quotes. He has a very polite and professional demeanor. The last couple of times, do to supply chain challenges, he did advise us that it would take 4 to 6 months to get the windows made and the work completed. I like the fact that he was up-front with us and gave us a realistic time frame. Sure enough, true to his word, the windows were installed within that time frame. Also, all the crews that have come over during the years to do the installs, have been polite, friendly, professional and meticulous. The windows look amazing.

There was a little hiccup with timing due to Covid but all in all it was a very good transaction.My house has a lot of stucco on the outside and these guys installed this window absolutely perfect.There’s a little crack on the cover where you open your window but I was assured this will be covered and fixed within a few days once I reach out.Malik and Steve were the installers… Amazing people.Not one mess, scratch or dent. If you're searching for new or replacement windows, I cannot say enough good things about Bavarian Windows. Their impeccable service, professionalism, quality and competitive pricing has been consistent throughout the years that we've been dealing with them. This speaks volumes. Definitely a company with integrity and customer assurance that stands behind their products. This is exactly what you want if you're looking for windows/doors. I would strongly recommend them without hesitation. They work 'with' you to meet your particular needs.Eighteen years ago, I worked with Dean on a front door/sidelight unit with a rather large transom. The custom work desired was using 'real lead' grills. I'd drawn the design and Bavarian Windows turned it into a reality having a glass/lead artist create the transom using reinforcement rods due to the magnitude of the window itself. The result was spectacular. After that we had Bavarian replace most of our windows and changed patio sliders to a double operating/double screened 'French door'. It's absolutely gorgeous! We still have two windows to replace but are waiting because of a possible renovation/addition. With that said, we did not do all the windows/doors at the same time. I mention this because if you are replacing windows, you don't have to do them all at once... no worries there because Bavarian's professional guidance/suggestions/installs perfectly matched all our work together.Our most recent installation a couple weeks ago was a new custom 'etched glass' window and a side door/pewter hardware. Mike and Jordan did exceptional work. Their attention to detail and workmanship is amazing. Impeccable work from beginning/removal to the cleanup afterwards, leaving everything in excellent condition. The wait was a tad longer than usual due to Covid manufacturing delays and understandably so but Drew, Barry and Karla were fantastic, keeping us informed along the way. It is and always has been a pleasure dealing with everyone at Bavarian Windows. There's not a better company you want to deal with.

I had Bavarian replace all 28 windows and a side door in my house, and I have a front door coming later as well (see update below!). I worked with Dan for the quotes – Dan was great, very flexible with all my questions and revisions throughout the sales process, and ensured I was getting the right product for my house.The entire experience was great, but I specifically want to highlight the quality of the installers and the quality of the final product.I got insert windows in a 110 year old home, replacing the original sash windows. I got HomeTech awning windows with black texture inside and out.Colin and his crew installed 28 windows and a side door in 3 days to a very high quality standard. On the exterior, the flashing has nice square corners, the caulking is smooth, the windows have extremely nice glass. On the inside, the crew worked with me on some requests around trim, ensuring all of my existing cell-shades would fit and the back-out blinds would remain blackouts. I have original casing throughout the house which they kept intact and ensured the windows were square within. The final finish inside is very clean, with square sharp lines and great reveals around the windows.I had 4 original stained glass windows that they removed carefully and stored safely for me to restore and hang.Every member of Colin's crew was very kind, professional, and observed COVID precautions without complaint. They showed up on time, they cleaned up before leaving each day. They painstakingly removed their boots every time they came inside the house, put down blankets in all work areas, and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. All I had to do at the end was put back my furniture.I'm incredibly happy I went with Bavarian. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.Update (June 2021) – I received my front door, and the crew remained as professional, clean, and fast as on the first install. Bavarian had the brick opening made larger, and the new front door (made in Canada!) is the most beautiful addition I've made to my home. From Colin's crew doing a great job on the install to Dan's help with the custom colour and glass choices, I'm incredibly happy with the choice to go with Bavarian.

Great product and excellent service. Installation was delayed due to lock down but we were one of the first when things opened up. The installation team were very careful regarding new protocols and the installation was completed and the site cleaned up in one day.Now some two months on the doors are admired by all our visitors and are functioning very well.Now a year on still looking great and came through the first winter with no problemsBest regards

Bavarian windows has been a pleasure to deal with. Justin on the sales team was responsive and helpful through the endless questions and amendments that occurred during our selection process. It was nice to know I could reach out to him and receive a response within a day. I put him through the wringer with my questions down to the minute details, and he was more than happy to answer all of them...not something you experience often in the window shopping world.The install team has been phenomenal. Jay, Shane, and Scott have been very professional, and a pleasure to work with these past 3 days. They have taken their time to confirm my selections, as well as to point out how some of the windows might be installed differently than the originals to improve energy efficiency. They have cleaned around each window thoroughly after each install, made sure they were careful throughout the house, and their workmanship is exceptional. They were also happy to listen to any special requests I had during the install, such as trying to save the trim around our door, and using alternative trim around the bathroom window so that it would fit within the backsplash.Most importantly, they are a team of really nice guys and it has been refreshing to get to chat with them while they work.I would also like to mention the install coordinator Drew, who went out of his way to retrieve a sign that we mistakenly left on our old storm door. He fished it out of the old window pile and sent it back to us on the following day when the final windows were to be installed. Again, the Bavarian team was responsive and accommodating when I reached out to them.The last thing I want to mention is that even though our installation is not yet finished (one more day), we have already had several neighbours stop by to admire the windows, with one of them saying they are the nicest windows they have ever seen. Our windows are the Hometech modern style in matte black finish.....I highly recommend them.More importantly, I highly recommend Bavarian WIndows.

Absolutely fantastic company. We had three sliders done by Bavarian. They have a fantastic selection that fits in with the aesthetic of our house. They were great to work with and their employees that installed the doors were absolutely wonderful. Their work was done quickly and they reached out to make sure everything was okay afterwards. Looking forward to the warmer weather so we can use our new screen sliders this spring! We worked with Dean on a new entry door renovation project. We have very high standards and many questions had to be answered to ensure all expectations were met for this challenging project.Dean patiently answered all my questions and offered various options to be considered. We ended up ordering a MasterGrain fiberglas slab/dual sidelite/transom assembly. The price was very competitive with an acceptable lead time.Once an installation date was scheduled they kept their commitment and showed up first thing in the morning of the promised date. Just had two new basement windows installed. Barry Gascon, was the very helpful salesman who came out to see the site and provide a quote within 24 hours. As advised, there was a two-month wait for the windows to be manufactured. The installers called on the scheduled day to ask if they could arrive an hour early. They were polite, and the work was done quickly, neatly and cleanly. I was especially pleased with the finish trim where there had been none before. Bavarian Windows gets five stars from me!

I needed a small thing, just a replacement crank for a Pella window in my mom's house. Google said Bavarian was a Pella dealer so we drove out there early on a Saturday. Turns out Bavarian no longer sells Pella, BUT the guys there were happy to set me on the right course. They told me who sold Pella, and before I knew it they had printed out directions and called ahead to see if the other business was open. It was the kind of friendly and helpful service that just makes you feel good.I also have to give a big shout out to Joe Reinhart Glass Service. They are not open on Saturdays, but when the guys at Bavarian called it turned out Joe was in the shop and he said to send us on down anyhow. We got the crank and had a nice chat with Joe too. Another real helpful KW business!

Shortly after we moved into our home, many of the seals failed in our windows and we decided to look for replacements. We went with Bavarian Window Works because:- The quality and selection of windows was excellent- The customer service I received (both in their showroom and during the in-home quote) was first rate- The warranty includes labour for 10 years (most others did not even mention a labour warranty)On the day of the installation:- The installation team was on-time and very friendly- They worked quickly and with a very high quality level of work (lots of spray foam insulation, exterior calked properly, trim work very precise)- They worked neatly and cleaned as they went, leaving the house very clean when they left- They did a few 'extras' just to finish off the details (example: there were lintel plates that were starting to look shabby above two of my windows and they clad them in aluminum. Now they look great and are maintenance free)Overall, I think that they did an excellent job and I will definitely have them back to do the rest of my windows.
