Folding Doors and Moving Glass Walls
in Kitchener-Waterloo
Open your space to a panoramic view of the outdoors with a moving glass walls system and bifold patio doors.
No pressure. No markdowns.
Just honest advice.
Folding patio doors or moving glass walls fold open panel by panel to eliminate the barrier between your interior and your patio or backyard entirely. No frame in the way, no half-open slider. Just open space.
Folding Doors vs Moving Glass Wall
Which one is right for your home?

Moving glass walls
Moving glass wall systems are the architectural version. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels on integrated roller tracks replace an entire wall section.
When open, the panels pocket to the side. The result feels less like a door and more like removing a wall.
Best suited for large openings, new builds, additions, and commercial spaces where the indoor-outdoor experience is the centrepiece of the design.
Folding Patio Doors
Folding patio doors are hinged panels on a top and bottom track that fold and stack to one side when open.
They suit most residential openings: a patio door replacement, a deck access, an indoor-outdoor living space.
Available in 2, 3, 4, or 6-panel configurations depending on the width of your opening.

What Customers Are Saying About Us
Frequently Asked Questions
For the right opening, yes; but not always. If indoor-outdoor flow matters to you and you have the opening width for it, folding doors do something no sliding door can: they eliminate the wall entirely. For smaller or less-used openings, a standard door performs just as well for less money. We'll tell you honestly which one makes sense for your project.
Track misalignment. Panels run on top and bottom tracks, and if they're not set precisely, the door binds. It's an installation quality issue, hard to fix after the fact. Wood frames make it worse because wood moves with Ontario's humidity swings. Aluminum and uPVC hold their shape. We only carry systems with track engineering built for Canadian climate conditions.
Both inswing and outswing options are available. Inswing doors are common for Ontario homes, while outswing doors can help save interior space. The right choice depends on clearance, drainage, weather exposure, and how you use the room.
Aluminum for most exterior applications, strongest, widest spans, best for Canadian weather. uPVC for good thermal performance at a lower price. Wood for pleasant interior or sheltered openings. Fibreglass where UV and warping resistance matter most. We'll recommend one based on your opening and exposure when you book a quote with us.
